The location is unbeatable, the staff- amazingly friendly. You get a Basel card which gives you 50 % on all museums AND COMPLETE FREE RIDING ON ALL THE PUBLIC TRASNPORT FOR YOUR ENTIRE STAY. Rooms are big - and then there is the indoor pool (almost half Olympic ). And then comes the best part: Breakfast – full and rich, and full of vegetables , eggs any way you want them à la carte. And then theIcing on the cake – Jean – the breakfast headmaster. We were a family with two grandparets , two parents (us), and our two teenage kids (18 , 16) who – as teenagers – have all these weird requests on food etc. Andjean was amazing, helped the kids, researved tables for our elders so they could easilyget in and out – and just gave us a complete feeling – as if we’ve come to a welcoming and loving home. The hotel was perfectly situated in Basel and a short walk from the old city and main station. The tram/buses were just outside the hotel so lots of travel options were available. The hotel was modern and welcoming. The room was well sized with excellent bathroom facilities. It was very clean with comfortable beds, so I got an excellent night's sleep. Being able to open the windows is always a bonus. The staff at reception and in the restaurant were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were very enjoyable. I would definitely stay there again.

It's also very easy to reach from the EuroAirport via Bus 50, which conveniently stops at the railway station. The room was spacious and well-equipped with everything you might need, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The breakfast was another highlight, offering a wide variety of options to suit every taste. I highly recommend this hotel for its convenience, comfort, and excellent service!

The room was very nice, about the size you would expect from a modern chain. Plenty of plug-ins, which can be a challenge sometimes. We stayed one night and left early, so didn't have breakfast. The location was perfect for our needs. We were able to walk to all the Fest activities throughout old town, within 15 min from the Hotel.
